Rock and Indie Festival 2025
Logistics

Performance at FRASS, LASALLE College of the Arts, as part of the Rock and Indie Festival 2025
I was on the logistics team for the Festival Village, the arts market at RIF that brings together local businesses, craft booths, and workshops alongside the music sets!

Initial Stages
As part of the Festival Village logistics team, I first helped shortlist small businesses based on their craft, style, and relevance to RIF, then reached out to confirm their participation, scouted for sponsors, and assisted with workshop planning. Once the line-up was set, we shifted focus to designing experiences that would engage visitors and encourage them to spend more time exploring the Festival Village.

Audience Engagement
Two of the key initiatives we introduced to keep visitors engaged were the Stamp Rally and the Playlist Library. The Stamp Rally was a fun, interactive game where visitors collected stamps by attending performances, visiting booths, or completing activities—like hunting for hidden bears around LASALLE. Once they collected all the stamps, they could redeem gifts from Commenhers, one of our Festival Village sponsors. The Playlist Library, on the other hand, invited visitors to share their music tastes throughout the festival. After the two-day event, we compiled all the responses into a collective RIF Playlist (click to see the playlist and give it a listen), giving attendees a chance to discover new music and reflect the collaborative aspect of the festival.

One of the best parts of RIF was teaming up with other school departments and seeing everyone’s different skills in action, plus getting to meet visitors face-to-face and have fun chats with them.
